Emanpack offers two styles of coil downender machine, with capacities ranging from 5-30tons. Both styles are designed to up-end the stacked coils which is "falling from the sky" to better transfer them to the coil car as part of the integrated coil handling system.

The tilting, lifting or turning process can be driven hydraulically or electrically. In the case of electrical design, the power is transmitted to the tilting device by the electric motor through a mechanical linkage device composed of at least two elements. A chain system with a reducer (similar to a gearbox) driven by an electric motor, which moves the conveyor platform and controls the horizontal change of direction.

The coil up-ending devices of the downender can be installed and combined with all common conveying elements: Chain conveyor, Slat conveyor, Roller conveyor, Shuttle car.
Features of coil downender:
-Eliminate coil damage.
-The safest and most effective way to handle coils.
-V saddle built to ensure that the narrower coil reaches the centerline of the coil car.
-Sliding V saddle option is suitable for applications with limited space.
-The rotating model will make the base rotate 180°, while the cradle rotates 90°, so that the forklift operator can load and unload the coil from the same position to increase productivity.
-Gear drive and chain drive models can meet your production requirements.
-The non-rotating model will turn the pallet and roll 90°. The loading and unloading positions will be opposite to each     other; for crane unloading, this configuration is usually preferred.
-Both Upenders can provide any voltage and frequency to provide global service.
