Development of automatic pipe and tube packaging machine

With the continuous improvement of the upstream automation of the plastic extrusion production line (automatic delivery of raw materials and ingredients), the continuous improvement of the speed and efficiency of the extrusion production line, the intensity of the packaging operation downstream of the extrusion production line is also increasing. Based on this change, domestic companies constantly exploring and innovating, we have launched a series of fully automatic tube and pipe packaging machines to meet the different needs of customers.

1. Small diameter plastic pipe and tube packaging method:
For plastic pipes (PP and PVC pipes) with small diameters (Φ16~32mm), according to the types of pipes produced and the required quality of the pipes to be packaged, the plastic pipe strapping and bagging packaging machines developed generally have the following different packaging methods: By plastic PE film bag packaging, the sealing method at both ends of the bag is thermal bonding or tape wrapping; For plastic woven bag packaging, the sealing method at both ends of the bag is tape wrapping or two-fold sewing, etc.
This kind of small diameter plastic pipe strapping and bagging packaging machine can automatically complete the process of "counting-binding-bagging and packaging" for all kinds of small diameter plastic pipes produced on-line. The specific automatic operation steps are as follows:

1) Quality inspection, sorting and storage machine:
● Guide the pipes from the cutting machine into the quality inspection sorting storage machine;
● Automatically sort the points and guide them into the packaging slot;
● If there is a waste pipe, it can prevent the pipe from entering the packaging slot, and manually take it out for separate treatment;
● With independent measuring length for manual operation;
● The packaging slot is equipped with a weighing function, and if there is a weight error, it will automatically alarm and prompt manual operation.

2) Wrapping strapping machine:
● The strapping machine adopts a stretch film wrapping method, the number of strapping and wrapping times and the number of strapping circles can be set freely, and there is no limit to how many times in theory (customers can set freely within a certain reasonable range, generally less than 10 times);
● Consumables such as stretch film and bags are equipped with automatic detection devices, which can automatically alarm and prompt manual replacement.

3) Bagging machine:
● Bagging the bundled pipes;
● After wrapping the bag, fold the excess bag at both ends and seal it with tape;
● Use a hoist to lift to the shelf or push tube trolley, with a lifting height of 1.3 meters.

4) Programmable control management system:
● Use imported PLC system to realize signal acquisition and automatic control;
● Display production status and record production results;
● Record fault alarms and display fault points for maintenance personnel to deal with and eliminate.

This kind of small diameter packaging has the following outstanding advantages: It can meet the above four different packaging needs, and under the condition of the main structure unchanged, only need to choose different packaging heads for installation; Set up photoelectric counting and weighing double-layer insurance, ensure the accuracy of the packaging quantity; Save space for installation.

2. Packaging of large diameter plastic pipes:
For plastic pipes with larger pipe diameters (diameters of Φ63 and above), the plastic pipe bagging (wrapping) packaging machine occupies a very small area, which can almost adapt to the original production sites of all pipe manufacturers, and has small requirements for compressed air sources. , It can also work normally under the air pressure below 0.04-0.05Mpa.
