Modern production and packaging line of slit coils
Coil processors usually place the slit coils generated by the coil slitting line on a wooden skid, and the coils are packaged in the vertical position of the eye axis. Slitting coil handling and packaging require that each coil is separated from the slitting coil group separately, and then each coil must be turn over from a horizontal eye axis to a vertical eye axis, bundled radially, sorted according to customer orders, and stacked on skids. Wrapping it with stretch film or other packaging material such as composite paper, knit belt..... weigh it and paste the printed label on the outer package. The mechanical system for packaging slit coils for transportation is called a fully automatic slit coil packaging line.
Modern coil slitting lines can produce 60 to 80 or more slit coils per hour, so the ability to pack slit coils safely and effectively is critical in today's coil processing operations. The completed coil package is discharged from the turntable to the weighing station conveyor belt, where the package weight is recorded. After weighing, the completed package will be packaged around the clock, affixed with a shipping label, and then placed on a jumping conveyor belt for transportation to the shipping dock. For horizontally transporting the coil group of the eye axis, an online coil flipper that tilts the coil group by 90 degrees can be installed as a component of the jumping conveyor.
In addition to time-saving and labor-saving functions such as PLC programming, the modern slitting coil packaging line can also be equipped with electronic equipment to record data related to shift production by parts or weight, customer packaging quantity and weight, consumed strapping, and various production and expenses.
